New Organ Donation PSA On the Air
There's a new public service announcement hitting Illinois' airwaves, and Secretary of State Jesse White wants you to pay attention.

White is urging all Illinois residents to become organ donors. He has unveiled a new organ and tissue donation ad highlighting Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman's daughter.

Tillman, who appears in the spot, talks about Tiana, his daughter who received a heart transplant at 6 months of age.

The new ad comes as National Donate Life month begins. In Illinois more than 5.1 million people have signed up for the registry. Nationally more than 100,000 people are currently waiting for organ and tissue donations.

This is an issue the secretary of state handles because organ donors are identified on their driver's licenses.
