Quincy Teacher Faces Sex, Drug Charges
QUINCY, Ill. (AP) -- A college student teaching at an elementary school in the Mississippi River city of Quincy is accused of sexual misconduct with a teenage boy and of drug charges.

Thirty-six-year-old Darrold Frisbie was arrested early Monday and jailed in Adams County on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say Frisbie is a Quincy University student and was teaching at Adams Elementary School.

Police say an investigation began Sunday when the teenager complained. Authorities also allege that Frisbie gave prescription pain medication to juveniles.

The Quincy schools superintendent says Frisbie won't be allowed to work at the school.

Frisbie does not have a listed home telephone number in Quincy. It's unclear if he has an attorney.
