EIU Senior is "Rock, Paper, Scissors" World Champ
CHARLESTON, Ill. (AP) -- An Eastern Illinois University senior has single-handedly made collegiate championship history.

No, not that collegiate championship.

Think smaller. No, smaller than that.

It's the "Rock, Paper, Scissors" world championships, and for the first time a woman has taken it all.

Brittany Kraft, a 21-year-old from Lexington, was in Acapulco, Mexico, to enjoy the last spring break of her college career when someone asked if she wanted to sign up for the competition.

Seven hours, one bee sting and many rounds of play later, Kraft won, beating out 14 regional champions from across the country, among others.

For her efforts, Kraft took home the $25,000 grand prize for tuition and a year supply of goods from contest sponsor Amp Energy.
