Schock, Others Disappointed in Obama Quincy Visit
An Illinois congressman is disappointed with the president's visit close to his congressional district.

U.S. Rep. Aaron Schock (R-Peoria) says President Obama failed to listen to the needs and concerns of small business owners while he toured Quincy on his "White House to Main Street Tour" Wednesday.

"If you're an employer and you're struggling and you're trying to keep the employees that you have, these pieces of legislation from health care to cap and trade do the opposite thing," Schock said. "It makes it more difficult to stay afloat."

Quincy small business owner Mike Nobis believes Obama doesn't care about struggling small business like his printing business. "The thing that's really sort of disheartening a little bit is the president came [and] actually went and spent most of his time on what we call green job type of technology and we all know that it's gonna be years before this type of job or any kind of job growth is going to be realized," Nobis said.

Nobis has been active in the National Federation of Independent Business.
