Kids Have Game Plans for Finding Golden Eggs
Hunting Easter eggs may seem like something anyone can do, but there is a strategy to it.

So says Kody Korschgen, a ten year old who visited Lake Story Park Sunday for the 23rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt.

"I'm going to basically run down by all the trees because I'm thinking that all the golden Easter eggs are in the trees because basically when I've been looking down the first three trees, I've been seeing golden Easter eggs so basically I was thinking they're probably all over in the trees."

Golden eggs were scattered among the 12,000 eggs spread across the park and those finding them were able to redeem one of 130 prizes given away.

Nine year old Macey Bland, however, says finding the eggs is about being in the right place at the right time.

"Well we're going to stay right here and then we're going to collect all the eggs and then we're going to go all the way to the back where most people aren't."

Hundreds of people showed up for the annual event and for first time in few years, dealt only with gusty warm wind instead of snow or rain.
