Teen Accused of Robbing Grocery Store
Galesburg police say they have a teenager in custody, accused of taking money from a local business late Friday morning.

A statement from police indicates officers responded to the Hi-Lo Grocery store in the 900 block of South Seminary Street around 11:20 am. Employees told police an unknown suspect had entered the store, demanded money from a clerk, and left.

It's not clear how much cash was taken, but police did apparently figure out who did it. They say 17-year old Ronnie Thomas was found around 10 minutes later in the 500 block of East Third Street.

Thomas was arrested and charged with Robbery and was taken to the Knox County Jail. It's not clear when he'll be in court.
