Obama in Chicago for Fundraiser
(IRN)-President Barack Obama spent the night in his own bed last night on the south side of Chicago. He returned to his adopted hometown Thursday and received a hearty welcome at a large fundraiser at Chicago's Navy Pier.

The President yelled, "Love you back" to the crowd of 2,300 who attended the Thursday night fundraiser for his re-election campaign.

The Navy Pier party was the last of three Obama fundraisers held in Chicago yesterday.

Mr. Obama talked about how much the city means to him, the place where he fell in love, started a family and got into politics.

Most presidential re-election campaigns are headquartered in Washington, but Obama explained he put his re-election campaign headquarters in Chicago because Chicagoans are the people who got him started.
