Maggie Daley to Remain Hospitalized for Few Days
CHICAGO (AP) -- A spokeswoman says the wife of Chicago Mayor Richard Daley is expected to remain hospitalized for a few days after being admitted for pain in her right leg.

Maggie Daley was admitted to Northwestern Memorial Hospital Saturday morning.
She's been battling metastatic breast cancer since 2002, and the cancer has spread to her bones. She had a titanium rod inserted into her leg last March to strengthen it.

Mayor's office spokeswoman Jackie Heard says the hospital visit was due to leg pain and not an indication that her cancer was worsening.

Daley's physician, Dr. Steven Rosen, says Maggie Daley will be hospitalized for ``a couple of days.''

Maggie Daley was hospitalized in Washington in October with pain in the same leg.
Mayor Daley leaves office in May after 22 years.
