Bulls Fans Finally Get License Plates
(IRN)-Chicago Cubs, Bears and Blackhawks fans have had their chance to display their team spirit on the vehicles, and now Bulls fans have their chance.

Secretary of State Jesse White unveiled the new Bulls permanent Illinois license plate Tuesday. The black and red striped plate features the Bulls logo.

On hand for the unveiling in Chicago was basketball hall of famer Scottie Pippen, Bulls president Michael Reinsdorf and mascot Benny the Bull.

"We are proud to partner with the State of Illinois to help support a worthy cause and to give Bulls fans the opportunity to show their team loyalty with an official Illinois license plate," said Reinsdorf, the son of team chairman Jerry Reinsdorf.

The plates can be ordered online at www.cyberdriveillinois.com. Fans can order random number, personalized or vanity plates. Plates are expected to be sent out on May 13.

Twenty-five dollars from each plate goes to the Professional Sports Team Education Fund and is earmarked for the Common School Fund.

White says his office is working with the White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals to develop team plates.
