Former IL Coach Gets Probation for Molestation
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (AP) -- A former high school softball and basketball coach in Bloomington has been sentenced to 48 months of probation for sexually molesting a teenage girl.

The (Bloomington) Pantagraph reports that Shelby Parker was sentenced Tuesday in McLean County Circuit Court. She pleaded guilty in February to sexual abuse.

Parker is 23 and lives in Bloomington. She was arrested last July after police found her with the girl in a car parked in a public lot.

In addition to probation, she will have to register as a sex offender.
Parker was an assistant girls softball and basketball coach at Bloomington High school. She wasn't a teacher.
