CHICAGO (AP) -- Illinois has a new ad campaign to encourage residents to sign up for the state's organ and tissue donor registry.

Secretary of State Jesse White unveiled the new campaign Monday with 13 year old heart recipient Mikahla Thornton and the daughter of late Chicago Bears great Walter Payton, Brittney Payton.

The television and radio ads will air throughout Illinois throughout April, which is National Donate Life month. It will be in English and Spanish and also be shown on movie theater screens.

Payton and Mikahla are in the ad. It features the Eric Clapton song "Change the World."

Eight year old liver recipient Noelle Krockey also was at the news conference at Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital.
