2nd Fisherman's Body Found in Lake Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- The body of a second man who disappeared while fishing on Lake Springfield has been recovered by underwater searchers.

The (Springfield) State Journal-Register reports that Capt. Joe Morelock of the Illinois Conservation Police says the body of a 25-year-old Springfield resident was located in 15-foot deep water on Tuesday afternoon.

The first fisherman's body was pulled from the water on Monday. He was identified as 26-year-old Travis Christopher of Riverton. The second fisherman's identity wasn't released. He was found about 600 feet north of Christopher.

The two men were in a 14-foot motorboat when it capsized on Sunday. Authorities say there were wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph at the time.
