Man Re-pleads on Methamphetamine Charges
A Galesburg man has changed his mind for what could be the last time on whether or not he should plead guilty to felony methamphetamine charges.

Knox County Circuit Court Records indicate 41-year old Robert Miner, Junior has pleaded guilty again to charges in two separate cases of participation in methamphetamine production along with a charge of possession of meth precursors in two separate cases.

Miner originally pleaded guilty to the charges in January as part of a plea deal, initially indicating he needed to think about it first. But he withdrew those pleas later claiming his public defender was ineffective.

Miner reportedly changed his mind about that, and made the pleas again Wednesday.

Miner was arrested last April for allegedly being involved in a suspected methamphetamine lab, but was arrested again in November for a similar situation.

Charges in both cases have been dismissed following the pleas, but no recommended sentencing is in place. An eight-year recommended sentence is no longer in effect. He'll be back in court for that June Sixth.
