Two Charged in Child Sex Case Appear in Court
A Galesburg man and a Chicago woman charged in connection to child sexual abuse were both issued their next court appearances in Knox County Monday.

Circuit Court records indicate 27-year-old Calvin Williams is scheduled to appear for the first time with his public defender Wednesday at 11 am. Last week he was arrested and charged with three Felony-X counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and an additional count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a Class-One Felony.

Williams is accused of committing sexual acts with a then 8-year-old child from September of 2010 to earlier this month.

26-year-old Angel Holloway is suspected of first learning about the allegations last December, but didn't report the alleged abuse to authorities until this month. She's been charged with permitting sexual abuse of a child and six counts of child endangerment for allegedly putting five other children at risk.

Court documents show she appeared with her public defender Monday and a preliminary hearing is set for April 30th. Her bond is $100,000 dollars, while Williams' is $200,000 dollars.
