Tenants of Galesburg Incubator Seeing Great Success
The Sustainable Business Center's three largest tenants are impacting more than just the Galesburg area.

At a press conference held to welcome 17th District Congressman Bobby Schilling Thursday, the green businesses released what's trending with their products.

Blackburn Sampling C-E-O Bob Blackburn, who's credited with developing the award-winning COLIWASA, says there's a new anti-stat sampler being patented that's causing the buzz.

"And that's what we're really excited for," Blackburn said. "Our big distributor, Granger, our tech guy said this is going to be huge."

Lamboo, Incorporated's Luke Schuette says he's seeking distribution agreements with a variety of countries, and is even building a new facility in Vietnam.

Intellihot President Sridhar Deivasigamani says distribution sites for tank-less water heaters are being mapped out across the country.

For Mayor Sal Garza, these entrepreneurial successes reflect a collaboration on multiple fronts.

"It is all about each one of us contributing, because each one of us has that potential and each one of us has that value they can add," Garza said.

Incubator Director Eric Dilts forecasts the Sustainable Business Center to reach 75-percent capacity by the end of the year.
