Warren County CrimeStoppers Seeking Help

Crimestoppers of Warren County is asking the public for help in resolving a burglary and several criminal damage to property offenses in Monmouth that date back to last month.

Monmouth police say someone forced their way into a residence at 520 North C Street during the overnight hours on May 2nd and stole 17 DVD movies. Authorities are also still investigating several reports of criminal damage.

Officials say between April 26th and the 28th of last month, several windows were broken out of bulldozers and semi trucks parked in the 600 block of South Main Street. Damage was estimated at $3,500. Another report of damage happened on April 26th between 5:00 and 6:30 pm, when someone broke out a large window on the Term City Building at 227 South Main, causing an estimated $1,000 worth of damage.

Police also continue their efforts to find who's responsible for a graffiti spree between April 12th and the 17th. Authorities say someone spray painted the side of a Term City delivery truck, the side of a barn in the 500 block of South C Street, and the driver's side of a car in the 300 block of South A Street.

Police urge anyone with information about the crimes to contact Crimestoppers of Warren County. Information that leads to an arrest and the filing of criminal charges could result in a cash reward of up to $1,000.
