Galesburg Man Arrested on Weapons and Drug Counts Makes Court Appearance

A date for preliminary and bond reduction hearings is set for a Galesburg man facing drug and weapons charges.

43-year old Otis Dortch is due back in court May 12th after being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Criminal Fortification of a Residence.

Dortch and 40-year old Lisa Paulsgrove were both arrested last Thursday at a residence at 578 Holton Street after authorities executed a search warrant.

The search allegedly turned up a handgun reported stolen from Knoxville four years ago, a thousand dollars cash, crack cocaine and marijuana.

Dortch, who made a court appearance yesterday, is being held on 100-thousand dollars bond, and Paulsgrove is held on 20-thousand dollars bond. She is due in court on Friday.
