Warren County Sheriffs Office Investigation Leads to Felony Drug Arrest; Money and Suspected Marijuana Seized
A Henderson County man is awaiting the filing of a formal felony drug-related charge against him after an investigation in a neighboring county led to his arrest.

23-year old Matthew Kane of Media is jailed in Warren County pending a bond hearing. Sheriff Martin Edwards says deputies took Kane into custody at the intersection of Illinois Route 116 and U-S Route 34 around 3:45 Tuesday afternoon. He's facing a preliminary Class 3 felony charge of manufacture or delivery of between 30 and 500 grams of cannabis.

Edwards says police seized $1,000 cash and suspected marijuana from Kane following an investigation by the sheriff's office.
