IL Twins Win Spot on Hallmark Mother's Day Card
BETHALTO, Ill. (AP) -- For artist Beth Speer, every day is Mother's Day.

But she takes special pride in knowing that mothers around the country will be receiving a card with a photo of her twins on the front.

With her boys entering the terrible twos, the single mother always tries to look at the humorous side of parenthood.

So, when she saw that Hallmark was having a competition for Mother's Day cards that could make any mom laugh, the 23-year-old Speer knew immediately that her subject literally was right in front of her.

Speer decided to enter a photo that she had taken of her two dynamos from Halloween with the caption, "If Johnny wants to wear his dinosaur costume for three months straight, just keep saying how 'creative' he is! Happy Mother's Day!"
