Authorities Still Seeking Suspects in School Break-Ins
Police in Monmouth continue to investigate a pair of burglaries last month that left two schools with extensive damage.

The incidents occurred at Monmouth-Roseville High School and Immaculate Conception School. Police made an initial plea for the public's help through Warren County Crimestoppers about a week after the burglaries happened and now they're doing it again.

Officials say the two schools were burglarized during the overnight hours April 23rd or early April 24th. Both schools were ransacked, causing several thousands of dollars in damage. Monmouth-Roseville High School Principal Jeff Bryan said a few days after the incident at his building that substantial damage was done to expensive office equipment and trophy cases. Bryan said a window was identified as the point of entry into the school.

Bryan said it didn't appear whoever vandalized the building was interested in anything other than destroying things since no valuables were taken.

Damage at Immaculate Conception School was also significant. Unlike Monmouth-Roseville, classrooms and the library computer lab were among the areas hit hard at ICS.

Police and Warren County Crimestoppers are urging anyone with information about one or both of the incidents to contact them. Callers do not have to give their name. Information they provide that leads to the arrest and criminal charges filed against whoever is responsible for these or other crimes in Warren County are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
