Obama in Illinois for Memorial Day
President Barack Obama is in Illinois this Memorial Day.

Obama will be delivering the Memorial Day address at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. According to Craig Larson with the Department of Veterans Affairs, a prelude will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the official ceremony starting at 11:30 a.m.

Larson says it's an honor to have Obama participate in the ceremonies.

The event is free and open to the public but Larson says security will be strict

Those attending should know that parking at the cemetery will not be allowed but a shuttle bus will run from another parking site. Bags, lawn chairs, sharp objects, coolers and umbrellas will not be allowed.
