US Muslims Express Relief After bin Laden's Death
DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) -- Many U.S. Muslims are greeting news of Osama bin Laden's death with a mixture of relief and jubilation.

They say they've experienced a decade of personal sadness and public suspicion since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and now they hope other Americans will see their happy reaction to the news and that will lead to better relations.

Muslims from the Detroit suburb of Dearborn rallied outside the city hall, waving American flags and chanting ``U-S-A!, U-S-A!''

Imad Jurdi of Alexandria, Va., says he made his teenage daughter stay awake late Sunday to hear President Barack Obama announce the news. Jurdi says bin Laden ``spoiled the reputation of the whole Islamic world.''
