'American Idol' Finalist Thanks IL Hometown Fans
WHEELING, Ill. (AP) -- ``American Idol'' finalist Haley Reinhart has been honored in her suburban Chicago hometown with a proclamation declaring that the day be named after her.

The 20-year-old Reinhart hugged fans Saturday after a motorcade through Wheeling, located 30 miles outside Chicago.

Wheeling Village Village President Judy Abruscato proclaimed Saturday as ``Haley Reinhart Day.''

Reinhart will later give a concert at Arlington Park Racetrack, the same place last year's ``American Idol'' winner Lee DeWyze performed.

The other two ``American Idol'' finalists are 17-year-old country crooner Scotty McCreery of Garner, N.C., and soaring 16-year-old songstress Lauren Alania of Rossville, Ga.
