Henderson County Meth Lab Bust
Authorities in Henderson County say two men are in custody after a methamphetamine lab was allegedly found in a home.

The Henderson County Sheriffs Department says the suspected find was made Wednesday at a home in the three-hundred block of North Fourth Street in Oquawka.

They say in addition to a suspected meth lab, other meth and meth-manufacturing materials were found. And, while authorities were there, they say 20-year old Nicholas Garner tried to flee the scene, but was arrested a short time later in a neighbor's yard.

Garner and 26 year old Chad Forrester each face charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Participation and Aggravated Participation in Meth Manufacturing, Meth-related child endangerment, and Unlawful Disposal of Meth-Manufacturing Chemicals.

The two are being held in the Henderson County Jail. Meantime, authorities say a third person -- 19-year old Brian Vanskike, was arrested on a drug charge and on warrants from Warren and Henderson Counties.
