Raid at Local Home Results in Two Arrests
Two Galesburg residents are under arrest after drug agents and local police conducted a raid on their home early Friday morning.

Galesburg Police and the Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group say their agents along with a State Police SWAT team went to 62 Sumner Street around 5:30am Friday to conduct a search warrant.

Officials say they discovered a quarter-pound of suspected marijuana, along with suspected crack cocaine, scales, packaging material, and a loaded rifle.

18-year old Michael Allcon of the Sumner Street address was arrested on a host of charges including Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Crack Cocaine with Intent to Deliver, Unlawful Fortification of a Residence, Armed Violence, Possession of Brass Knuckles, Possession of a Firearm Without a Valid I.D. Card, and he was wanted on a warrant for a city ordinance violation.

23-year old Adam Spellman also of that address faces similar charges along with his own Knox County Warrant.

The two are being held in the Knox County Jail, and authorities say their investigation continues.
