Bond Lessened for Chicago Woman Accused of Permitting Galesburg Child Sex Abuse
A Chicago woman being held in Knox County Jail for allegedly endangering several Galesburg children saw her bond reduced Monday.

Circuit Court records indicate 26-year-old Angel Holloway's bond was cut from $100,000 dollars to $25,000 dollars. During the preliminary hearing, Judge James Stewart also stipulated that she have no unsupervised contact with minors once able to post bond.

Holloway is accused of not reporting to police the alleged sexual abuse administered to a child by 27-year-old Calvin Williams, of Galesburg. And by failing not to do so, prosecutors claim she put five other children at risk since last December.

Charges filed against Holloway include permitting sexual abuse of a child and six counts of child endangerment. She's scheduled to be arraigned May third.

Williams, meanwhile, also sat through a preliminary hearing Monday-- which will be continued to May Seventh. His bond remains at $200,000 dollars. He's been charged with three Class-X felony counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The prosecution suspects him of committing sexual acts with a then 8-year-old child from September 2010 to last month.
