1 Recovery in Burlington Boat Crash; 3 Still Missing
Eight people were injured, three are still missing, and one body has been recovered, after an early morning collision Saturday between two jon boats near Burlington, Iowa, on the Mississippi River, toward the north tip of O'Connell Island, near Flint Creek, on the north end of Burlington.

Des Moines County Sheriff Mike Johnstone says the first call for help came in at 1:43am Saturday. Des Moines County, Burlington Police and Fire, DNR, and Coast Guard boats are involved in the search.

One of the injured was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, while the others were taken to Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Three people are still unaccounted for. All of the missing are in their early 20s.

We'll have more details as they become available.
