Man Confesses to More Drugs after I-74 Arrest
Police say a Galesburg man confessed to having more alleged drugs at his residence after being busted for suspected narcotics on the interstate.

Galesburg special agents, an Illinois State Police K-9 unit and others conducted a drug detail at an I-74 rest stop near milepost 61 just before 9 pm Thursday night. Authorities say a targeted vehicle with three people turned up 32 grams of suspected cannabis, other drug paraphernalia, and $800-dollars in cash.

A Galesburg police report indicates 27-year-old Robert Luken claimed the alleged drugs were his, and told authorities he had "a little more" back at his Galesburg home.

Police say Luken signed over his consent for a search of 1106 Parkview Road. Inside a basement safe, police say they found 36 grams of alleged hash, a digital scale, and small baggies containing a "batman" symbol on them.

What's more, records state a stolen leather wallet with a Galesburg-PD badge and ID were recovered. Police also seized two firearms-- a loaded glock and 12-gauge shotgun. Luken advised police he had a valid FOID card. Ammunition, another scale, and more drug paraphernalia were also discovered.

Luken was arrested on two counts each of Possession of Cannabis, 30 to 500 grams, and Possession of Cannabis with the Intent to Deliver, 30 to 500 grams.

A judge set his bond at $20,000-dollars Friday morning and he'll return to court June first.
