Galesburg Man Arraigned on Heroin Charges
A Galesburg man pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges accusing him of running a drug ring at his home.

Knox County Circuit Court records indicate 26-year-old Joshua Foster also demanded a trial by jury through attorney Karl Johnson during his arraignment.

Numerous area law enforcement agencies raided his Florence Avenue home of suspected cannabis and heroin on March 30th. Foster was charged with multiple counts of Possession of Heroin, and Delivery of Heroin. A Pre-trial Conference is set for June fourth. He remains in Knox County Jail on $100,000 dollars bond.

22-year-old Blake Johnson, of Rio, was also arrested during March's bust. Court documents show an indictment returned against Johnson last month charges him with three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

A special prosecutor has been assigned to his case because of a conflict of interest. He's already pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to next appear in court Monday.
