Knox County Health Department Addition Moving Along

The addition to the Knox County Health Department is on schedule, and within the budget.

Paul Johnson, a representative with Johnson Building Systems, told the Board of Health Thursday night that even though there has been three weeks of bad weather, everything is going as planned.

Greg Chance, health department administrator, says he's pleased with how well the project is moving along.  "Things have gone very well...the weather issues aside, it's on schedule and still under budget..."

As of this week, the newest addition to be put on was the roof, and contractors will next work on sheeting the exterior of the building.

The only new update Johnson had for the board was because of how timely everything is going, he will be revising a new schedule next week.
