Not Guilty Plea in Police Tractor Chase
A Galesburg man accused of giving chase to authorities in a tractor a month ago says he's innocent. 48-year old Scott Price made an appearance in Knox County Circuit Court yesterday afternoon, where he pleaded not guilty to charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Aggravated DUI.

Price was arrested late May 25th, after police reports indicate he allegedly struck a sport utility vehicle at the intersection of Henderson and Main Streets in a blue tractor, but then was chased by police throughout the city's western section. Police eventually gave up on the chase, but Price was found a short time later by Warren County Sheriff's deputies near Angling Road.

Police say Price failed a field sobriety test, and refused to take a breathalyzer test.

Price waived his right to a preliminary hearing in the case, and Knox County Judge Steven Bordner set an August Fourth Pre-Trial hearing date, and an August 15th Final Pre-Trial hearing.

Price remains jailed on $15,000 bond.
