New Board President for Stone-Hayes
A man with a long history of public service in the area is the new president of the board of directors for the Stone-Hayes Center for Independent Living.

A release from Stone-Hayes says Dale Parsons of Galesburg was recently named the board president. He's been involved with the Knox County Board, the Knights of Columbus, Carver Community Action Agency, the Boys and Girls Club of Knox County and several other organizations.

Parsons also recently received honors for Distinguished Leadership form Leadership Greater Galesburg, and the Ageless Achiever Award from the Western Illinois Area Agency on Aging.

The Stone-Hayes Center for Independent Living serves people with disabilities in Knox, Warren and Henderson counties, while also serving as an information and resource provider on all disability-related issues.
