Galesburg Broadcasting Company won a number of awards Wednesday night at the Illinois Broadcasters Association "Silver Dome Awards" Dinner in East Peoria.
WGIL won "Station of the Year" in the small market division. News Director Will Stevenson won in the Best Reporter category, and WGIL's Silver Streaks Boys Basketball Team of Mike Perry and Jim Lee won for Best Play-by-Play.
