Spoon River Flood Warning Until Sunday Evening
POSTED 9:17 a-m 6/21/09 A Flood Warning remains in effect for the Spoon River at London Mills, affecting both Knox and Fulton counties.

The National Weather Service office in Lincoln says the warning is in place until Sunday night. The river stage was 15.6 feet as of 8:45 a-m Sunday, resulting in minor flooding to agricultural land near the river. Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

The forecast indicates the river level will continue to fall below flood stage by Sunday afternoon.
