AP Exclusive: Tailor Made Suits, Got Blago Favors
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Rod Blagojevich's tailor got more than just payment for making the ex-governor's suits.

Rocco Giovannangelo's niece got a state job.

Giovannangelo is tailor at Oxxford Clothes in Chicago and made Blagojevich's suits of $2,000 or more.

An Associated Press review of Blagojevich's phone log shows a January 2003 note that Giovannangelo's niece -- Daniela Lazazzera -- wanted a job.

She later worked two years for the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

Later, Blagojevich set aside four tickets and a parking pass to some event for Giovannangelo.

The impeached and ousted Blagojevich faces federal corruption charges unrelated to the clothier.

The Democrat gave another Oxxford employee -- Christopher Corcoran -- a $92,500 DCEO job last August. Gov. Pat Quinn fired him in April.
