Suspected Five-State Crime Spree Started in Fulton County, Ended in Idaho
Two Central Illinois-area residents are accused of being behind a series of thefts that occurred in five states starting almost a month ago.

The Fulton County Sheriffs Department says authorities there are working on obtaining arrest warrants for 28-year old Korie Clemens of Peoria, and 23-year old Calob Fairburn of Cuba, Illinois, while the two face charges in Rupert, Idaho.

Fulton County officials say the alleged spree started in rural Astoria May 13th, when a report was taken alleging the theft of a number of items -- including two vehicles, a trailer, a firearm, fishing equipment, a bow, and a puppy.

While the trailer was eventually found in Fulton County, authorities say one vehicle was recovered in Missouri, another vehicle was found in Kansas, and the remaining items in Idaho.

The deputies say the two are accused of committing the theft of another vehicle also in Kansas, later found in Montana, and that items stolen from Montana including yet another vehicle were also found in Idaho.

Fulton County Deputies are crediting state police, county deputies in Montana, Missouri, and Kansas, and Police in Rupert, Idaho with helping solve the case.
