Blago's Radio Show Put on Hiatus
CHICAGO (AP) -- A Chicago radio station is pulling the plug on former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, at least for now.

Officials with WLS-AM say they're putting Blagojevich's Sunday radio show on hiatus until after the Chicago Democrat's federal corruption trial. WLS says it's making the move out of respect for the legal process and it will re-evaluate the show's status after the trial.

WLS announced the hiatus today during Blagojevich's appearance on the "Don Wade and Roma Morning Show." Blagojevich says he'll miss doing the show and the listeners who call in each week.

Blagojevich says he's looking forward to the start of his trial because he wants the truth to come out. He's pleaded not guilty to scheming to sell or trade President Barack Obama's former Senate seat and other charges. Jury selection is slated to begin tomorrow.
