Quinn Doesn't Like Jeb Bush Campaigning for Brady
Mention the name Bush, and Gov. Pat Quinn makes a face like he just swallowed a sour pickle.

The governor was asked what he thinks of his Republican rival for governor, State Sen. Bill Brady (R-Bloomington), getting the endorsement of Florida's ex-Gov. Jeb Bush. He said he's not for the economic policies of any Bush -- Jeb, George Sr. or George W. "President George W. Bush presided over the beginning of the Great Recession because of a failure to regulate Wall Street properly, and Americans have suffered a lot because of it," Quinn said.

Quinn says the Bush policy was to deregulate the "wheeler-dealers" on Wall Street, who made money preying on other people.

Brady says Quinn's economics aren't so great either. "He's had over 15 months in office. In that time we’ve lost over 200,000 jobs," he said.

However, the new employment report shows that Illinois has gained 70,000 jobs this year. Quinn says "we're doing things the right way."
