Police Make Third Arrest in Connection to Suspected Hotel Room Meth Lab
POSTED 6:00 a.m. 6/24/10 A man who police found unconscious earlier this week at Galesburg's Best Western Prairie Inn has recovered and been arrested.

Galesburg police say they discovered 29-year-old Rhyder Gray in a room at the hotel with a suspected methamphetamine lab early Monday morning.

Authorities say Gray was on a bed in the room and was taken to O-S-F St. Mary Medical Center for treatment.

Gray was released from the hospital Wednesday and arrested on one count of aggravated participation in methamphetamine production. He's being held in the Knox County Jail awaiting a first appearance in Knox County Circuit Court.

Police were alerted to the situation when a suspicious odor was found coming from the room Gray was in and nobody answered at the door.

Authorities previously arrested 28-year-old Claudia Sidell and 36-year-old Yvonne Rutledge on meth related charges in connection to the alleged meth in the hotel room.
