Sex Offender Arrested at Railroad Days
A man was taken into custody Friday night at the Railroad Days carnival.

A woman alerted a Galesburg police officer patrolling the carnival that a registered sex offender was operating the "wipe-out."

The officer make contact with 23-year old Chad Craig of Galesburg and confirmed he is a registered sex offender.

Craig was arrested and allegedly was found to be carrying marijuana and a drug pipe.

He was taken to the Knox County Jail and charged with being a register sex offender at an amusement fair with children present, possession of cannabis under 2.5 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
