White Supremacist Can be Charged for Website Post
CHICAGO (AP) -- A federal appeals court has ruled a charge against an avowed white supremacist now serving time in federal prison should not have been dismissed.

The U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago said Monday a website posting by William White falls outside the protection of the First Amendment.

White's website published the name, photograph, home address and phone number of a juror on his website, which is no longer operating. The juror had been foreman of a jury that convicted another white supremacist, Matthew Hale, of soliciting the murder of a federal judge.

The 33-year-old Roanoke, Va. man is now serving time in Beckley, W.Va., for convictions on other charges. A phone message left by The Associated Press for White's attorney was not immediately returned.

Monday's ruling means the case goes back to U.S. district court.
