Blago Trial Goes "Bleepin' Golden"
CHICAGO (AP) -- Rod Blagojevich's profanity-laced comment about not giving up his power to appoint Barack Obama's successor in the U.S. Senate for nothing will likely reappear at the former governor's corruption trial.

Prosecutors played the infamous wiretap recording in which Blagojevich colorfully describes the opportunity to name a senator as "golden" just before proceedings adjourned Tuesday.

The person Blagojevich made the statement to, former deputy governor Doug Scofield, is expected to testify about those and other comments by Blagojevich when he retakes the witness stand Wednesday.

Blagojevich has pleaded not guilty to charges including scheming to get a job or a massive campaign contribution for appointing someone to the Senate seat.
