Lawyers Think Patti Blagojevich Likely to Testify
CHICAGO (AP) -- A lawyer for Rod Blagojevich says he believes the former governor's wife is likely to testify at his political corruption trial.

Attorney Sheldon Sorosky said Thursday that he think it's "very likely" that she will testify.

The trial is set to get under way Thursday in Chicago with jury selection. Sorosky says they're ready to start and that he thinks a jury will be seated more quickly than people expect.

Blagojevich has pleaded not guilty to 24 counts -- including racketeering, wire fraud, attempted extortion and bribery. He and his brother -- Nashville, Tenn., businessman Robert Blagojevich -- deny scheming to sell or trade President Barack Obama's old Senate seat for personal gain.

If convicted, Blagojevich faces up to 415 years in prison and fines totaling $6 million.
