Blago Says Court Time Has Been Positive
CHICAGO (AP) -- Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich says his courtroom experience so far has been "mostly positive."

During an interview on WLS Radio's "The Don and Roma Morning Show" on Monday, Blagojevich jokingly said should get comfortable in court because he knows he'll be there for awhile.

Blagojevich spoke hours before he was due in court. Judge James B. Zagel is expected to question about 30 more jurors on Monday, after quizzing 59 potential jurors in two days.

Blagojevich said he hoped proceedings on Tuesday would be over in time for him to attend the 6 p.m. graduation ceremony for his eighth grade daughter.

Blagojevich says the courtroom is a place to "get the truth out."

He's pleaded not guilty to scheming to profit from his power as governor to fill the Senate seat President Barack Obama left to move to the White House.
