Elmwood Patching Up What it Can After Tornado
ELMWOOD, Ill. (AP) -- City government in Elmwood has moved into a new home after the old one was heavily damaged by a powerful tornado.

Elmwood Mayor John Hulslander says the new space in the town's senior center is cramped but the city will manage.

One of the 15 tornadoes that touched down in north-central Illinois on Saturday night destroyed or damaged dozens of homes and businesses in Elmwood. A number of people were injured but no one was killed.

Some business owners in town wonder whether they'll be able to rebuild. Palace Theatre owner Vern Reynolds says it will cost double what his insurance will pay to repair his 97-year-old building.
