'Mega-Passes' for IL State Fair Rides Go On Sale
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Tickets offering admission to Illinois State Fair carnival rides at any time are going on sale at a discounted rate for a month.

``Mega-passes'' granting full-time admission to the midway for the fair will cost $55 until July 18. Then the price goes to $65.

Fair manager Amy Bliefnick says there are more than 65 rides on the carnival midway and the state fair's ``Adventure Village,'' and mega-passes are good at any time during the 10 days of the fair in August and the preview night.

Rides on the Tram, Sky Glide or Giant Slide are not included.
The fair also will introduce $25 one-day bracelets this year at selected times each day of the fair.
