Stephen Colbert Gives Northwestern Commencement
EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) -- Comedian Stephen Colbert is telling graduates of his alma mater that if they aren't successful it will make him look bad.

The Chicago Tribune reports that in a commencement address at Northwestern University in Evanston on Friday the host of Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report" joked that if they fail he will "look like an idiot" because he's called them the greatest generation.

Colbert, a 1986 Northwestern graduate, also poked fun at the school for some recent headlines about a class in which students witnessed a live sex demonstration. And he told the graduates to thank their parents -- both for paying for their education and for when they have to move back in with them.
