Daley Joins Chicago Law Firm
CHICAGO (AP) -- Former Chicago Mayor Richard Daley is taking on another job.

Daley is joining Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. The law firm has more than 600 attorneys and offices in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Washington and Charlotte, N.C. The firm also has an office in London and plans to open one in Shanghai this year.

In a news release Wednesday announcing the move, Daley says he picked the firm because it is well-managed and is expanding globally. The release says Daley won't participate in any work the firm does that involves the city of Chicago.

Daley has kept busy since stepping down after 22 years as mayor. Last month, he joined the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy Studies as a distinguished senior fellow.
