Congressman Reacts to Contempt Vote
A vote to censure US Attorney General Eric Holder by the U.S. House passed easily, but not before some lawmakers walked out without voting, and that has one local Congressman mad.

17th District Republican Bobby Schilling says he was sad to see the several dozen Democrats -- reportedly led by the Congressional Black Caucus -- walk out of the House Chamber prior to the vote regarding Holder's alleged refusal to turn over documents in the "Operation Fast and Furious" investigation.

Schilling tells the WGIL Morning News then again, he's more disappointed in the Obama administration.

"The administration has stone-walled this thing, I hoped it wouldn't come to this," Schilling said, The key to this is the Terry family needs to have answers, the American people need to have answers. Mr. Holder had three retractions-- so under oath at these hearings, he wasn't putting out all the facts."

Schilling was referring to border agent Brian Terry, who was shot and killed a year-and-a-half ago by a Mexican drug cartel with guns that allegedly disappeared during the operation.

The Colona Republican says all the information on the operation is needed, and he would be saying that regardless of whether the President was Democrat or Republican.
