Knox Senior Speaker Admits to Wasting Time
By all accounts, new Knox College graduate Greg Noth was a good student. But he made a confession that might have seemed confusing at last weekend's Commencement ceremony.

Noth -- the Senior Class speaker at the ceremony, admits to wasting time during his four years at Knox. Noth says while a lot of that was not writing papers he should have, or watching reruns of his favorite television show with friends, he also wasted time in a different way.

"I also wasted time writing papers instead of spending time with people that are important to me," Noth said. "So, the question we need to ask ourselves is, 'Did we waste the right amount of time here?' And now that our time here is done, what next? The majority of us probably can't answer that question right now, but that shouldn't concern us."

Noth says previous graduates set the bar high once they left Knox, and it's up to the class of 2012 to maintain that standard.

They have in some respects, raising more money than classes before them to be given back to the school.
